NOTE: THIS EVENT NOW STARTS AT 11:30 AM. SEE NOTES BELOW.

Nibble and socialize with fellow Europeans in a stylish lounge bar. This event is specially for expatriate Europeans, their guests, and regulars. If you are from Europe and want to make interesting new friends, have substantial conversations, compare notes on life in America, practice your language skills or just have fun, come join us! Drop in when you can and stay for as long as you want. You'll discover a friendly group where mingling is mandatory! (See mingling etiquette.) Newcomers are very welcome.

Check in at the welcome table to receive your Friends of Europe name badge. The event is pay-as-you-go by paying individually and will end by no later than 2:30 PM. There is a parking garage ($5 at weekends) under the venue and also street parking nearby.

I know shifting the start time to the middle of the day may mean that some people will not be able to attend but I hope many of you will still be able to come. So, see you at the Pres A Vi tomorrow!

I managed to speak to the Pres A Vi General Manager and while they have to close at 2:30 for legal reasons, they can accommodate us in the lounge bar from 11:30 am onwards. Lunch menu items as well as appetizers will be able to be ordered so we can turn this into a brunch-style gathering. This seems like the easiest thing to do at short notice and a way for us to say goodbye properly to the Pres A Vi and to the staff. Future Sunday events will of course be held at other venues.

I am sorry to read that Pres a Vi will be closing its doors, but happy that I will be able to experience it once this Sunday. From the photos, in seems rather chic! Looking forward to meeting everyone, as well! A bientôt!
