Meet other internationally-minded people with a European affinity in a convivial cross-cultural atmosphere. Please come wearing something that symbolizes the holiday season in your country of origin. It could be as simple as a sprig of mistletoe in your hair or a broach in the shape of a Christmas tree, or something more elaborate! A prize will be awarded for the most inventive/amusing creation.

If you are from Europe or have a strong European connection and want to make interesting new friends, have substantial conversations, practice your language skills or just have fun, come join us! Drop in when you can and stay for as long as you want. You'll discover a friendly group where mingling is mandatory! (See Mingling Etiquette.) Newcomers are very welcome. Come on your own or with a friend.

Check in at the welcome table to receive your Friends of Europe name badge. Happy Hour drinks and half-price appetizers are available. The event will end around 7PM to allow people to dine together afterwards if they want at the venue or nearby restaurants. There is free validated parking in the adjoining Hills Plaza parking garage (entrance on Folsom between Embarcadero and Spear). For more information about the venue click here.

There is a limit on the number of people the venue can accommodate. Please RSVP YES only if you are fairly confident that you - and your guest if you are bringing one - will be able to attend. Events are often full, so if your plans change or your guest cannot come please update your RSVP so that someone else can come instead.
