Meet other internationally-minded people with a European affinity in a convivial cross-cultural atmosphere. If you are from Europe or have a strong European connection and want to make interesting new friends, have substantial conversations, practice your language skills or just have fun, come join us! Drop in when you can and stay for as long as you want. You'll discover a friendly group where mingling is mandatory! (See Mingling Etiquette.) Newcomers are very welcome. Come on your own or with a friend. Check in at the welcome table in the bar lounge to receive your Friends of Europe name badge.

This BAFOE "Peninsula Chapter" event is being hosted by Marion and will end at 7:00PM. Happy Hour drinks and appetizers will be pay-as-you-go. The venue is located just off 101 in Redwood City and there is plenty of free parking.

There is a limit on the number of people the venue can accommodate. Please RSVP YES only if you are fairly confident that you - and your guest if you are bringing one - will be able to attend. Events are often full, so if your plans change or your guest cannot come please update your RSVP so that someone else can come instead.

Excellent location for those of us coming from the Peninsula and South Bay, but a car or carpooling is an absolute must. Many people also drive down from S.F. Easy-to-find venue with abundant free parking, and we have "Bella" all to ourselves! Groups are the perfect size, about 30 - 40, not too large, not too small. Interesting mix of nationalities, i.e. German, French, Spanish, Russian, Scandinavians, Dutch, etc. Happy Hour specials, $2 beers, $4.95 Calamari plate. What's not to like?

Convienient, tons of parking, cheap (resonable) pricing. Rather awesome! As far as the meeting; tons of people and almost to capacity. Much better than I anticipated befoe my first meeting. Thanks ”
